Amazingly passed the wash test!!

Great beginner audio recorder

The Bottom Line: This is a dependable, easy-to-use beginner recorder. Add a microphone and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and a more expensive model.
Review: As a working journalist, I bought this recorder when conducting interviews with politicians. I wanted to make sure none of them could claim I fabricated a quote. Eventually, my audio recordings evolved into a weekly podcast at my newspaper.

WS-100 recorder: one HUGE drawback

Review: can't delete a message while it is playing. This means you can lose an important message while trying to make out the tiny file numbers on the screen etc. older v-90 allowed deleting messages while they played.
