The Bottom Line: A durable, carefree and inexpensive entry-level digital recorder with acceptable voice quality. Turn it on and it works as expected, (no 90-page CD manual needed).

The Bottom Line: Great "entry Level" digital recorder for personal use. If it suits your needs it can save you a lot of money compared to other digital recorders.
Review: Olympus has done a great job of manufacturing a very handy "entry level" digital voice recorder for personal use. I purchased my VN-120 at Best Buy for $39.99 in January of 2005 and have used it numerous times, and for various purposes.

Fine, but what about the Mac?

Review: This recorder is undoubtedly quite nice. However, if you buy the
PC version (VN-120PC) and try to use it with a Macintosh, be aware
that I haven't been able to get it to work. The device is visible using
the System Profiler, however...
