Olympus VN-1000, a solid bet.
Pros:
Small, sleek, stylish. 16 hours of recording time. Easy to use buttons and folders.
Cons:
No USB port, confusing fourth folder for date/time storage.

Author's Review
A pretty solid little recorder. I purchased this one because of its extended hourly limit on low quality (16 hours). Its pretty simple, with three basic folders that hold up to 100 files each, and a fourth folder that stores files sequentially by time/date.
Overall, the speaker quality is pretty good for the recorders small size. I've recorded using the built in mic driving with the windows down, and its still intelligible.
Overall, I use only the three folders (a, b, c) and ignore the date/time recording. Also, don't pay attention to those reviews that say you can't get the audio into a computer. I use a male-to-male connection, available at any circuit city/best buy to connect the recorder to a PC/ MAC. Just plug one end into the recorders headphone jack, and the other into the PC Line-in/ mic input and play the recording while recording on the PC. Pretty simple.
