I love it!

I love this camera and would recommend it to any amateur photographer looking for a more rugged or outdoor camera. I loved the fact that it was shockproof. That is something that drew me to this particular camera in the first place. I have a tendency to drop things so its an excellent feature. Waterproof is a bonus because I have been known to drop things in the water that are not supposed to be wet. Freeze-proof was less of an issue because I don't like to venture out into the cold, but dust-proof is also a bonus as I love being out in the sand or outdoors in warm weather period.

As for picture taking, I've played with all the features as best I can from an amateur standpoint. I'm not that great of a photographer, but this camera has made me better. I tried indoor pictures that turned out great, and outdoor pictures that were great too. The image stabilization has saved my shots on more than one occasion. I even tried night pictures of the moon and of glowing dials, like speedometers. It works no matter what I do.

I am extremely happy with this camera's battery life. I don't mind that it takes a little while to charge because its worth the use I get out of it. With my old camera I had to replace the batteries after 5 shots every time I used it.

I would honestly recommend this camera to anyone who needs a camera to handle a little bit of the rough and tumble. Put it this way, it survived a back pocket horse back ride and eventual drop to the ground. Its great!
