Astounding audio quality, feature laden, great value.

The Bottom Line: I give the DS-2 a very high recommendation. I can't imagine it being much better in any way. It has excellent audio quality and is priced very reasonably.
Review: The Olympus DS-2 Digital Voice Recorder is one of those breakthrough products that makes me want to recommend it to everyone I see.

The Bottom Line: Look at your needs: great for sound quality, editing and email or mp3 interface. Not good for making many files or a lot of storage at the highest quality.

The Bottom Line: Decent sounding recording. A good option for the price range. This unit will work well for voice recording and for non-critical music recording.

Can't be used for dictation

Review: I bought this recorder to replace my Sony ICD-ST25 digital recorder b/c the DS-2 had a docking station. However, it is basically only a tape recorder. It is useless for dictation. You can't "record on the fly." Which if you dictate heavily, is next...
