The TODDLER PROOF Camera

A great little camera that can stand up to your toddler, the pool, even being dropped! Do you fall in love with a camera, only to somehow damage it or have it stop working? This is the camera for YOU. We replaced our semi-waterproof Olympus Stylus AND our SONY Handicam camcorder with this little dynamo. Everyone that I show it to or the pictures and video from it say "Wow, that little camera got that". This thing is SHOCK RESISTANT, can take a drop from several meters. It is not water resistant, it is water PROOF. It even gives you tips on how to use it underwater, and how to clean it by submersing it in water and taking pictures to open and close the lens. Our son has picked it up with sticky fingers, pushed every button by mistake, dropped it, sat on it in the car, we have even accidentally LAUNDERED it, yes really, in the washer. It never noticed. It has strong rubber rings / washers around the only two openings where the battery/memory stick go, and where the ports to it are. It quick connects via USB to my computer or can be hooked directly to a printer. We had silent video on our last camera, 29 second clips of video only moving images. This one has full video and sound, as much or as long as your memory card can hold. I have a 1G Xd card in it and, in video mode with an empty card, it says I can record 67 minutes of continious video.

Ok so you got a camera for pictures. We are relatively new parents so we take a billion. I don't think this is the camera for some camera purist that wants 10 mexapixel images of landscapes or intricate flowers. But for a great family camera that can go from freezing cold to blistering sun and underwater, that you can hand any age kid to take a few pics of their feet or the cat or whatever without the fear they will break it, or one you can forget about for a month, pick it up, and the battery still has plenty charge and the memory card plenty of room, this is the camera. They come in cool colors also. We have the bright blue one!
