Great Gas Mileage-Even after over 100,000 miles!

by   agatefaery ,   Aug 14, 2008

Pros:  Great car for the long haul!

Cons:  Had one severe problem w/plenum and head gaskets-but overall great runner.

The Bottom Line:  Overall this is a long-lasting, great running car. With monthly maintenance and "checkups" this car is seemingly lasting forever. (KNOCK ON WOOD). Please God let it last me through college!

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

This is a very great car because it gets great gas mileage, is quite comfortable, has very great safety ratings, and I haven’t had very many costly problems with it. It is a 12 year old, but it’s still a joy to drive. The seats are comfortable, the gauges are friendly and easy to use, and to be honest the on board radio is NOT all that bad. I give it regular tune-ups and oil changes, and overall it’s been a great car for me! I’m a college student, and I don’t want a car payment, but I do want dependability, reliability, comfort, and I don’t really care about car “aesthetics” at this point. (I mean I don’t care if I’ve driving around a sports car). I am just not that kind of person, but this car actually looks great too if well taken care of. It’s quite sleek for a car from that era and the automatic trunk opening-and some of the beyond standard features make it a wonderful, functional car. It also has a wireless access remote-twilight etc., which isn’t a great deal by some people’s standards, but it works well for me. It’s also a great starter in the winter!
