I have been using this stuff for a long time. Really. A looong time. I started with it in high school, a time when a deodorant that lasted all day was a "must have." Guys, remember that girl you sat next to in seventh period algebra, the one you had the super huge crush on? Well, how bad would it have been if every day by the time you got to that class you were drenched in stale, stinky sweat? Especially because seventh period algebra came right after weight training with the football coach. You see what I'm saying, right?
Well, Old Spice High Endurance Deodorant was my best friend from sophomore year on. My favorite scent is Mountain Rush, which has a clean, crisp smell that, to me, smells a little bit like coconuts. Yea, wierd, but I really like it. Old Spice High Endurance, at least the kind I buy, is a solid stick, so I don't have to worry about that nasty gel stuff getting on my clothes. It has a powerful, long lasting scent that, while it doesn't exactly hit the twenty four hours promised on the container, usually endures for about sixteen hours. Actually, I usually stay pretty active, so if you aren't out playing basketball in ninety-plus weather, it just might make it for you. But still, sixteen hours is usually more than long enough for anything I'm doing.
Old Spice High Endurance applies easily - just to strokes across the 'pit, and it's good for the day. And it doesn't leave any nasty residue, and no greasy stains on the under arms of my t-shirts. It really works well, and lasts as long as I can expect any deodorant to. It is inexpensive, and one 3.25 oz. (92 g) stick usually lasts my about a month and a half, so I think it's a pretty darn good investment.
Just as a warning, one time I bought a stick of Pure Sport scent, (witht he blue strip on the bottom, I think) and I had a very uncomfortable allergic reaction. Seriously, I had a burning itchy rash in my armpits for over a week. The label warns you to "discontinue use" if that happens, which I did, and it cleared up without any awkward doctor visits. It also warns against applying to broken skin, but I have no idea what happens if you do it anyway.
Old Spice High Endurance has become one of my greatest hygenic allies (behind soap, water, and my toothbrush), and I can assure Old Spice that they will have my business for years to come.
