SCENT
One of the first things that I always look for in a deodorant is the scent. The whole point of wearing the stuff is to keep myself from stinking, so why not buy a deodorant that smells good. The scent of Old spice is what originally persuaded me to buy it. I don't always choose arctic force. I take the time to smell the different brands, and the many great scents that Old Spice has created usually catch my attention before another brand does.
GEL OR POWDER
whether the deodorant has a gel base or a powder base is something that has been important to me for many years. One of the main reasons I choose gel over powder is because powder leaves nasty white marks on the underside of the pits on my shirts. If I happen to wear a thin shirt on a hot day, that white powder mark shows through, it is not to noticeable but is still present.
ANTIPERSPIRANT
No, Old Spice High Endurance is not a antiperspirant. If I am going to sweat, let it come. I am more worried about not smelling bad. I stopped using antipearspirant about six years ago due to the yellow marks it left on the pits of my white t-shirts. yuck, who wants yellow marks on their shirts, I sure don not. Old spice does not leave your shirt arm pits yellow.
PRICE
Price is a factor in everything I buy, I believe that deodorant falls into the category of everything. Three dollars and seventeen cents might seem like a lot of money for a stick of deodorant, I thought it was at first. but it is worth it. why pay less money for a stick that will turn the pits of your shirts yellow and will leave you smelling bad only a few hours after application. I honestly think that paying fifty cents more for a good stick is worth it.
HOW LONG DOES A STICK LAST?
How long a stick lasts all depends on how many times a day the deodorant is applied and how thick it is coated on. I have not watched other men put on their deodorant, therefore I can not say I am an average deodorant user. I can say that I use it at least once a day and swipe the pits one to three times during each application. the three point two ounce stick generally lasts me three or four months.
DOES THE SCENT LAST?
The High endurance bottle advertises that the scent will last twenty four hours. I can not say that is true because I sleep the last eight hours after application. I do not really smell it first thing in the morning. but the average sixteen to eighteen hours that I am awake I usually smell the deodorant doing its job of fighting my odor.
