Ativa Diamond-Cut Shredder: Takes What I Give it and Likes It!

The Bottom Line: The Ativa 8-sheet diamond cut shredder delivers all it promises, and is a great product for home or small office use.

Not what I expected

Review: I have gone through a number of shredders and thought that the diamond-cut Ativa would be a great product to try. I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed and if I had not waited so long before actually opening the box, I'd return it immediately...

Think Twice Before Making This Purchase

The Bottom Line: Shredding should be a simple and secure process. This shredder does not follow those basic standards, so I don't recommend this product.
Review: I received this shredder as a gift, because I'd asked for a new one that featured "diamond-cut" shredding. The diamond-cut feature makes your shredded documents as safe as ever, which was what drew me to this particular model.

The Bottom Line: Not bad and not great. I'm afraid this one is going to stick in the constantly on mode within a short period of time and that will be it.

DQ120D is really horrible

Review: I got the DQ120D for Christmas 2006. Here it is February 8 and it's ruined. It never jammed, only groaned on one of those 0% credit card offer, then after that, won't even shred a single page. The cutters are ruined and I can't explain why.

Not Worth the Money

The Bottom Line: Poor Design, Big topped shredders might have same trouble. I'll get it to jam in a month or two and upload a video to youtube search for Ativa or DQ80M
