Author's Review
This all in one by Hewlett Packard is the right machine for any mutiple function job. I have owned this all in one for less than a year. It was so easy to install, a kid could have done it. It does an excellent job of printing, copying, scanning, and faxing. I have a voice over phone service with SunRocket, and it faxes and receives faxes pretty well. However, there are times when I have to scan into the computers fax program that comes with the HP 6210, in order to fax out. It receives faxes nicely and are readable but a little garbled sometimes, but that is only because of the voice over phone connection. I have always purchased HP products and have never had any problems with them. One of the greatest features of this machine, is the front panel. You can read very clearly all information, such as fax, copy, scan, or print. Each section of the front panel has it's own separate boxes with the functions it can do, so you never have to guess what to do. Another great feature is the 2 and 3/4" inch window that is well lit for easy reading. It shows you what is going on with the machine at all times, and it tells you when you are about to be out of ink well ahead of time. Even though you get a warning of when you are almost out of ink, it will still print for days on end without actually running out. The HP 6210, like the other wonderful HP printers and all in ones, are great on ink. I only have to buy a new ink cartridge once every two or three months, and I print quite a bit of documents out daily. Here is yet another great feature about this machine, if you are out of black ink, or colored ink, you can still print. Unlike most other all in one's, once you get out of one color, you are doomed and cannot print anything in any color, or black until you replace the empty cartridge. I buy my ink cartridges at Walmart for my HP 6210 All In One, and the black cartridge only costs around $20 bucks, and the color cartridge only costs around $20 or $25 buck as well. If you really want a great machine that really does what it says, then the HP Officejet 6210 All In One is the right machine. It will save you many dollars over the life of the machine, because the ink cartridges last for such a long time. You won't be digging in your pockets buying ink every time you turn around. When this machines goes up in the future, I will be buying the next HP all in one as soon as it hits the market. As for tech support, I have not ever needed to call them, and I have had my machine almost a year now.
