Leaky Leaky Leaky

I have heard INCREDIBLE reviews of this cup. Its allegedly BPA free, cheap, so easy to use, a great transition from the bottle and is not supposed to leak. My personal experiences with this cup have been that my kids seem to like it, but it LEAKS. A lot. Everywhere. Its hard to put together, and I can't figure out how to make it NOT leak.

The one and only pro on this cup is that it is cheap. But, cheap does not really matter when it leaks all over the place and you get incredibly frustrated and throw it away. Its not like I have not given this cup a chance either. I bought it approximately a two and a half years ago when my son was little on a recommendation from a mommy web site. It leaked. I bought it a year or so later after hearing more recommendations, thinking perhaps my cup had been a fluke. It leaked. Once my daughter was moving on the cup a few months ago I decided to try it again. It leaked. See a pattern? I have decided to stop buying these cups!

Apparently some people really like these cups. If you know the secret to making them not leak, I would love to hear about it. I tried screwing it on tight. I tried loosening it a bit like you have to do with Avent bottles, but each time it leaked all over. Frankly, I am much too busy to deal with leaky cups!
