fun to use and smooth

After years of Braun, I decided to try the latest Norelco with doubt in my mind. The Braun left razor burn and I was disappointed, so I gave the Braum away and purchased the 8825xl: the basic model. The fancier models recieved bad reviews on the electronics. This model just had an off and on switch.

I was simply pleased to get a close shave. Previous models left me with stubble. The longer I use this model the better it becomes. Now I actually prefer using the Spectra to a blade. The Spectra will not shave as close as blade (no electric does) but it allows a quick shave or a more intense shave depending on time. Either way, I am greatly pleased and havn't used a blade since I purchased this razor. I think Norelco is finally getting it right. I think what makes this razor outstanding is the flexible heads that curve to your chin and face line. It get whiskers under my neck that I had to continually go over with the Braun.

The bottom line is that this is a first rate product and I will not go back to other razor types. I must say, I have been truly surprised.
