A fine shaver

I purchased this razor to replace another Norelco product. I was drawn by the additional shaving head area and the self-cleaning function that mimics that of Braun products. The razor shaves more quickly and closer than the previous razor, with a greater degree of comfort. It charges quickly and provides energy for a large number of shaves. I am not as impressed with the self-cleaning stand. The approach used is not nearly as elegant as Braun's. Solution must be poured into a reservoir and the a cup must be emptied and cleaned on twice per month. Braun's system minimizes the maintenance by having a self-contained reservoir that is sealed and discarded when dirty. The cleaning is effective, though the suggestion to rinse under the faucet afterward is something I would have done to clean the razor anyway. It makes me wonder why I went to the extra expense of the self-clean system. I am more than pleases with the shave and would buy this product again.
