Norelco Quadra 7845XL electric shaver

I am 79 years old and have owned 10 or more Norelco Razors of different models.The one I presently own,the 7845XL Quadra,is by far the worst of the line.It will not shave as close as the older shavers and if I continue to use it,I will have to shave twice daily.I owned one,I can't remember the model,that had a provision for varied closness of the shave,and it finally wore out.If this is going to be the norm in your shavers,this will be my last one.
