A very nice electric shaver

I just got my Philips/Norelco 6701X Cool Skin Shaver this week, and so far I have very POSITIVE feelings about it. I like the fact that you can use either Nivea conditioning lotion or gel to help make the shave much smoother. You can control the amount of gel/lotion that the shaver dispenses with just the push of a button, located on top of the shaver. The Norelco 6701X provides a very close shave, but if you don't use enough Nivea skin conditioner, the shaver can cause some very nasty razor burn, especially on the neck. The one main flaw about this shaver is the lack of a pop up sideburn trimmer. This is because the Nivea lotion/gel dispenser is located where the sideburn trimmer would normally be. While slightly annoying, this minor design flaw can be easily overcome by the use of a safety razor, and takes about 5 seconds to fix. Another reason I really like this shaver is because it is extremely portable. Because it does not have a charging base, I can keep it my the car and get a quick shave before a meeting ( which is convenient since I have "5 o'clock shadow" by Noon). Overall, I really like this electric razor and give it a "thumbs up!"
