Philips Norleco Speed-XL 8160XLCC Electric Shaver

Now that holiday season has come I want to share about one perfect gift that I gave to my husband for last year Christmas. I bought this Philips Norelco speed XL shaver 75$ in last year thankgiving deals at costco. Good price for a great gift!! When I gave it to my husband he started using it on the same day. First day he didn't feel very comfortable with the shaver as it took very long time compared to the normal razor.(this is the first time he used an electric shaver). This one doesn't shave the hair but it grinds the hair. Since he had sensitive skin the whole day he felt a little itchy sensation and we could actually see a little rash on his face. I felt so bad but in the instructions it clearly said that this could happen and once you get used to this shaver you no longer experience this feeling. So he continued to use. After a week we started to notice all very good things about this shaver. Once charged it works for atleast 4 -5 shaves. And recharging is also very fast. Charger is like a stand in which you can place the shaver. Very nice look. It comes with a travel pouch. You can take this even for vacations. All the hair that is grinded gets collected inside the razor and a light indicates when its time to clean the shaver. Cleaning is also very easy. Just remove the head and put the shaver and head under running water. This one has a trimmer too that reaches to places where it is tough to use the shaver. as this one is mess free you can use it anytime. It leaves your skin so smooth. Only thing I hate about this shaver is my husband now maintains a new bald look( which I totally hate). I am sure he wouldn't have shaved his head every day with a normal razor. this one is too easy to use so he uses it daily. Sometimes he uses it even in train journeys hahaha. Perfect gift isn't it!!
