My 3rd Norelco and by far the worst
Pros:
OK shave, can be rinsed under tap water
Cons:
Not durable, useless pop-up trimmer
The Bottom Line:
Hope my next Norelco razor serves me better.

When I noticed that my old Norelco 5801XL doesnt hold charge as well as it used to, I decided to get a new Norelco razor. 8151XL seemed like a nice upgrade with its triple heads, charging stand and full 2 year warranty. 2.5 years later it ended up in the garbage.
When I got Norelco 8151XL, I didnt expect any problems with it. The razor was quiet, charged fast and the shave was OK, no better than with my old shaver but acceptable. Being able to run the razor under hot water to clean it was an added benefit. I shave my head every morning, so I use my electric razor a lot and this one seemed like a typical reliable Norelco. Then, after year and a half the head holder became loose. Not only was the razor spilling cut hears while I was shaving but these nice triple heads started falling out. Since the razor was still under full warranty I called Norelco, and luckily there was an authorized repair shop in my area. Well, the repair guy informed me that this was a normal wear not covered by the warranty. I decided not to argue and paid $30 for a new head holder. The razor lasted about 10 more months and its battery started acting out. It degraded so fast, I couldnt believe it. Within a couple of weeks full charge was giving me only about 5 min of shaving time, then one morning the razor simply didnt turn on. Frankly, I expected a Norelco shaver to last longer.
