Pros: Excellent signal strength and sound quality. Compact but not too small.
Cons: Idle screen on mini display limited to time of day.
The Bottom Line: As a freebie phone, the Nokia 6085 hits all the right buttons but falls short in camera performance. No biggie, it's free.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Our latest customer loyalty freebie phones from AT&T (Cathy's is pink, mine is black), the Nokia 6085 delivers the goods. It's also free to new customers who sign up at AT&T's website for two years of service.
The main screen is nearly as... |

Pros: Clear, loud, good battery life.
Cons: Not useful for anything but calling and texting.
The Bottom Line: While deficient in many ways, the Nokia 6085 is basic and cheap. It has excellent build quality, and excels at the basics.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The Nokia 6085 is not a competitor to the iPhone or the G1. Not by a long shot. In fact, most people probably will get this phone because it's the cheapest available with a new plan at their local AT&T store. It's safe to say that glamour and style...

Pros: The phone is cute, light, and user friendly.
Cons: The phone gets stuck on headset mode.
The Bottom Line: I would not buy it because of poor customer service.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I think this phone is okay. I bought it because other reviews said it was great for the hard of hearing. I don't hear very well, but I also don't wear hearing aids. This phone has been terrible - I can't hear people well at all and people often say...

Pros: Great durability, easy texting, along with some nice added extras.
Cons: Not the greatest camera, dark external LCD, cannot send videos.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Nokia 6085 for basic calling, sending text messages, pictures, and bluetooth options. The phone has the nice little bonus of a camera, music player, and great durability.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Last year I made a choice for the Nokia 6085. It was one of the free cell phone choices offered by AT&T. I will be honest and say it has not been one of my favorite cell phones. But, it has been my favorite of the free phones offered by AT&T...

Pros: Color screen, good picture quality, multimedia messages, recording feature, adequate storage, FMradio, withstands a beating!
Cons: Megapixels, limited colors, annoyingly long delete feature for messages.
The Bottom Line: Worldwide usage, attractive, plenty of features, this phone is worth the money, which is already a great deal.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: This is a great little phone from Nokia. It is a fairly basic, standard cell phone but has enough features to get your money's worth. Color screen provides good picture quality for backgrounds and multimedia messages, though cameraphone pixels...

Review: This is our daughter's first cell phone. We added her to our plan and the Phone was free. Its a nice little phone. We got this phone (the pink one) about a month ago and the sound (speaker) went out on it. It was under warranty and AT&T replaced it...

Review: I got my Nokia 6085 last year when I was getting bored with my other phone. I loved my Nokia so much, I honestly couldn't tell you what my other phone was. In all honesty, I am writing this review posthumously, as my Nokia has died.

Cons: Low memory storage. Internet browsing is slow and awkward.

Review: I got a Nokia 6085 free with a contract from my wireless provider, and while it's not the best phone out there, it has exceeded my expectations. It has your basic uses: make and receive calls, text messages, pictures, etc.

Review: If AT&T really wants to show gratitude to its loyal customers, they'll have to do better than this. The Nokia 6085 failed to earn even one bar of appreciation from me.
