"Where's the Baby??"

I decided to buy a sling after trying one of the front carriers with my oldest daughter. I really wanted it NOW so, I went to baby r us and bought the only brand they had. I got it home and realized that HEY they come in different colors, too.
I got it out and began to read the instructions. Those took a little while to figure out as well as some experimenting(with out baby in it of course!!)
When I was fairly certain I knew what I was doing I put baby in the sling. She disappeared!! My youngest was so tiny you could not even see her. The instructions said baby would curl up but, I thought you would at least know something was in there!!
I walked around the house. Did the laundry, picked up all with my youngest in her sling sound asleep. It was great!!
I recently took the sling with me to my nephews bar mitzvah. I was able to eat the meal and even get my own plate from the buffet all while holding the baby. A few parents were there with little ones...all pushing a stroller around or carrying a car seat.
Also, I can very easily see how this could help breastfeeding mothers...I am not breastfeeding but, baby is kept at perfect height and the sling itself can be adjusted to use instead of a receiving blanket for privacy.
According to the directions, the sling can be easily adapted as your child grows. Unfortunately, I could not get it to adapt very well. I had lost the directions and just couldn't figure it out without them.
Although, I used the sling for a limited time. I was very impressed and when buying another sling I would definitely purchase this one again.
