The Baby Sling Saved Me!

I cannot say enough good things about my baby sling! I have used it with both of my daughters with great success. I actually have two of them - one for the house, and one in the car.

IT'S VERSATILE!
When my girls they were infants, the carrier allowed me to nurse in complete privacy while I carried them. The sling allows you to position the child in a variety of ways including facing in, facing out and on your hip. The sling distributes the weight across your back. If you are carrying a child on your hip, normally, your shoulder and arm give out fairly quickly. With the sling, you don't tire out so easily.

My second baby was colicky and wanted to be held from week 3 to month 3. The sling allowed me to function and soothe my baby at the same time. Today, I vacuumed the house with my 16 month old in the sling. (She won't let me vacuum unless I hold her.)

NO COMPLICATED CLIPS, AND A BREEZE TO CLEAN!
There is only one strap that is easy to adjust. The sling is made of very soft cotton. There is a pad that you position on your shoulder to keep the sling from irritating you. You can throw it in the washer and not worry about it.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Practice with the sling before you put your baby in it. It does take some getting used to, but it is worth the effort!
