I love my NoJo!

by   kcstark ,  Apr 3, 2002
Pros: I like having my baby with me. It allows me to have both hands free.
Cons: If wearing for an extended period of time, shoulder can get tired.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the sling for people who are on the go alot. It is very versatile and easy to pack. Try before you buy though, if you can.
Review: This is my third "NoJo" baby. She went in the sling in the second week of life and goes everywhere with me. My first daughter was a stroller baby. With my second daughter, I couldn't figure out the sling and my husband became the "chief" carrier....

I use it daily and couldn't live without it

by   kimmhunt ,  Jun 29, 2001
Pros: Hands-free, safe way to hold your baby; distributes weight across your back
Cons: Hot in summer; takes some practice to get used to it.
The Bottom Line: Makes caring for a baby easier and more fun! Durable, comfortable for mom and baby, flexible, portable, washable. Provides a safe "nest" while out and about. Makes housework a breeze!
Review: This is by far the one item I couldn't live without! I still use it everyday and my baby is almost nine months old. It is the most convenient way to carry a baby and still be able to "get something done." It enables me to hold my baby while bathing the...

Best piece of baby gear we bought!

by   fiddledebi ,  Jan 16, 2003
Pros: Very portable, easy to put on, babies LOVE these!
Cons: Can take getting used to
The Bottom Line: I think this is the greatest thing we bought for our newborn daughter. She loves it, we love it, and we can't recommend it enough!
Review: My daughter is a snuggler -- she wants to be held all the time. When she was born, she was only 5lbs 7oz -- way too small for any of the front carriers. She disappeared into the Baby Bjorn and hated it anyway. After three weeks of not being able to...

Buy a sling for every new mom you know!

by   debilewis ,  Nov 11, 2002
Pros: Comfortable for baby, easy to clean, multi-purpose
Cons: Wearing it takes some getting used to, strangers ask lots of questions
The Bottom Line: Buy this right now! It's a wonderful, wonderful piece of baby gear!
Review: My daughter was born expecting to be held every second of the day. She was a tiny little thing (under 6 pounds at birth) and wouldn't tolerate any of the soft carriers...she would disappear into them, except for her skinny little legs, which would...

The Baby Sling Saved Me!

by   speggsmom ,  Jul 19, 2002
Pros: Versatile carrier takes you from infancy through toddler years
Cons: You must practice!
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Baby Sling! It takes you from infancy through the toddler years with ease. Once you use it, you will wonder how you ever lived without it.
Review: I cannot say enough good things about my baby sling! I have used it with both of my daughters with great success. I actually have two of them - one for the house, and one in the car.

IT'S VERSATILE!
When my girls they were...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

by   lolabunny1974 ,  Sep 17, 2004
Pros: Easy, baby love closeness, hands free use.
Cons: My back hurt when he hit about 20 lbs.
The Bottom Line: Worth the risk and time to try it out. ESPECIALLY for colicky or fussy babies. I have two slings and can't wait to use with baby #2!
Review: I had a very popular and pricey front carrier and it was not very comfortable for me and my son didn't seem to like it - it constrained him too much, even early in his life he wanted to be able to move around. Well, I went to a store and tried this ...

The Baby Sling is a Must Have

by   sharmann ,  Jul 17, 2008
Pros: simple construction; easy to use, clean, and adjust to each user
Cons: one-sided weight bearing is not ergonomic
The Bottom Line: It's so convenient, I consider it a must try for every parent and child.
Review: This is a sling style baby carrier, essentially a big loop of fabric that serves as a child bandolier. It allows you to essentially wear your child. It's good to note that while many babies love the closeness and motion of a sling, not all ...

The Ultimate Baby Sling!

by   eubonus ,  May 1, 2007
Pros: Hand free baby care!
Cons: Takes sometime to get used to using the sling.
The Bottom Line: I could not have lived without my NoJo sling for either child.
Review: I do not like to carry even a purse and then I found out I was pregnant and was going to have to carry around a baby and a diaper bag, NO WAY! I began to look at other mother's and asked a lot of opinions about front carriers vs. slings. For me a sling ...

6 years, 3 kids, still using it!

by   Tandemonimom ,  Nov 7, 2001
Pros: comfortable, durable, easy to use, baby feels so secure
Cons: none!
The Bottom Line: If you have a "cling-on" baby, this will save your sanity! Start using in the first few weeks; some babies have trouble adjusting if started after two months.
Review: I put my daughter in this the day she was born and we both fell in love! It's great for carrying, nursing, and sleeping - sometimes all at once! My daughter was one of those "cling-on" babies who needed constant contact, and this sling saved my sanity! I...

Have Sling will Travel

by   ninasu ,  May 3, 2000
Pros: easy to get on and off, holds up to multiple washings
Cons: very few color choices
Review: I asked for my sling as a baby shower gift. When I got it I fell in love with how easy it was to use. I have had my sling for over 10 months and use it almost every day. I can not imagine going out without it. My sling gets washed once a week and has...
