SUPER SUV!

Pros: Powerful engine, comfortable ride, rugged good looks, roomy interior, fun to drive

Cons: bumpy ride in back seat, there are a lot of them on the road

The 2006 Xterra was my first SUV, but I test-drove at least 8 other models before buying it... and the Xterra was the best by far. While it may not be "fancy" or "luxurious" by most standards, it's a really good looking vehicle, and extremely fun to drive. Before buying mine, I drove the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford Explorer, and the Xterra had much more power (both on and off-road) then either of those. I tend to drive pretty fast on the highway, and my Xterra is up to the task! It's also a comfortable ride, much roomier inside than the older (pre-05) Xterras. The only cons that I've experienced are that the backseat can be a pretty bumpy place to ride, and of course there are so many Xterras on the road.
