The Bottom Line: While the 2003 Maxima SE is a well made family car, I recommend waiting for the 2004 models, or going with the 2003 Altima 3.5 SE.

The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Maxima to someone but not this year's model. I would tend to go towards the Altima for less money. The 2004 Model however is HUGE improvement!

The Bottom Line: Good value for its class, but if you want a performance sedan, despite how Nissan markets this vehicle, look elsewhere. Quality and craftsmanship is poor.

The Bottom Line: Recommended because it does everything well and looks good doing it and has Nissan quality to boot.
Review: The Nissan Maxima (Max) is a great all around quality sports sedan. If you're looking for good looks, comfort, power, ergonomics and functionality (i'm probably forgetting one or two categories), then get a Maxima.
