The Bottom Line: This is a vehicle that can rival vehicles like Lexus and Acura easily, but falls just short with interior details. The car is very reliable. It's a great buy.

The Bottom Line: For those who don't flock to the latest automotive fashion, and are willing to trade off a bit of comfort for better-than-average performance.
Review: Nissan Has Recalled the 2002 Maxima because the engine malfunction indicator lamp to come on and the engine speed to be severely limited. If this occurs unexpectedly, it could lead to a crash.

Steal this car!

The Bottom Line: Capable, roomy and fast sport sedan with a high level of basic equipment. With current incentives, this is a very affordable car.

Pound-for Pound an all-around Winner!

The Bottom Line: Even with an impending re-design forthcoming, the Maxima is a "driver's car". It does everything well, and is exceptional in many areas.
