Review: I purchase the 2002 Altima about 3 weeks after they came out in the market. Everything was going great until about 4 months after the purchase of the vehicle when my car wouldn't start. I had to wait about a half hour until it turned on. I did not...

Pros: Standard features are plentiful, nice styling, great performance.
Cons: Interior fit and finish, light-feeling doors and trunk.
The Bottom Line: Great vehicle, it will be interesting to see Honda's counter to the Altima - whatever it is, you can bet that the price will be higher.

Review: After driving family vehicles for the past decade and a half ranging from a 1984 Olds Custom Cruiser Wagon ( Hey buddy, is that a boat or a tank? ) to a couple of mini-vans (1997 and 2000 Grand Caravans - OK for carting people and gear, but don't...

Review: Overview: The Nissan Altima is the the car of the future for Nissan. It has a luxury feel at an economy price. I have been searching for my ideal car for the past few months and the Altima kept rising to the top.

Review: Bought a 2.5 S Silver with gray cloth interior. Dressed up interior by having an aftermarket Brushed Aluminum Dash/Console, etc., trim kit installed (just $225). I REALLY enjoy this car. First car in years that I still look back at after parking...

Review: I purchased my 2002 Altima SE when my car I received for my 16th birthday just wasn't fun to drive anymore. I was looking for something with plenty of power for my aggressive driving, style, as well as a ton of room (I'm a big boy).

Pros: Initial Quality Seems High
Cons: Minor Quibbles; Seat Adjustment And Fuel Economy
The Bottom Line: My initial observation is 100 percent positive; I like this car and have no reason to belive it will fail me in the future.

Review: It s difficult to make objective statements about a newly purchased car, especially a car that s been redesigned from the bottom up. (For those unaware, the 2002 Altima was completely redesigned from the previous year). Everyone wants to believe...

Pros: Exterior styling, room, power with the six
Cons: Interior styling incoherent, economy car driving feel, four not responsive, dealer arrogance
The Bottom Line: Good if you want a better looking Camry. If you want a car that feels good when driven aggressively, keep looking. Great specs aren't enough.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Many of the cars I test drive I don t see myself potentially owning. They re either too expensive, or not my type of vehicle. The totally redesigned 2002 Altima is an exception. Since I first learned of this car a few months ago, I ve been very...

Review: Nothing but a thorn in my side. From the rattle in the ?? trunk that we can never find, to the cheap plastic interior that appears to be breaking at the seams..we have had nothing but misery with our 2002 Altima. My teenage son leaned up against the...

Pros: Great Power, available stick shift, great looking ,great value
Cons: Vague shifter ,some cheap plastic interior parts
The Bottom Line: Dollar for dollar the most attractive 4 door sedan on the market. Will haul the kids to soccer practice, and will haul butt at every stop light.

Pros: Wonderful engine, beautiful silhouette, and solid suspension
Cons: Cheap interior parts and cheap tin sound when doors are closed or slapped.
The Bottom Line: The Altima has a lot to offer. You get lots of standard equipment, but the quality is not quite there. Great engine and suspension for a family sedan.

Review: I received a offer to testdrive the Nissan Altima and decided to take Nissan on its offer of sampling the new 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL. This model is the fully loaded 2.5 4 cylinder 175 hp with the Bose system, leather, and automatic transmission...
