I cannot say enough about this car

The maxima is a genuine automobile. The 1999 maxima includes some great features that the over 4th generation maximas don't have including the ambient air temperature feature and various other goodies. This was my first car and I have to say I love just about everything the Maxima has to offer. Nissan generally sold me for life on this car alone.

You can't go wrong with a V6 engine that is VERY powerful for what is considered a luxury sedan. As far as buying this used you can get a great bargain and they really last long. I am at 133,000 on my car and have had really no major problems.

One thing that Nissan could have fixed would have been better handling and the 99's have a chronic problem with coil packs going bad if you do not use the correct spark plug. You must use NGK regardless of what you are told. Bosch will only ruin you coil packs and make for costly repairs if you don't know how to change them yourself. However, having the car for 3 years I have only had to replace 1.

I bought this product mainly because it was affordable for all the features it had and after driving it I was completely sold. The ride is great....this is one of the fastest V6 sedans out there. The gas mileage is also very good for a V6.

Also the Maxima is a great starter car for college/high school kids as it has a lot of get up and go as well as a luxury/roomy side and options to make it your own.
