Miserable Transmission Problems

We bought this van in 1998 after having the third of our children. We thought that it would be a good investment as my father had had a Nissan Sentra and had no problems with it. However, we are having a much different experience. After driving it 90,000 miles (my husband drives 60 miles one way to work) we were told that the transmission was blown and that it cost us approximately $4000 to fix it!! We were also told that Nissan does not make a rebuild kit for this part. We still owe $12,000 on a van that we can't even afford to fix. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone!!
