Nice solid ride and reliability .

We test drove a ton of SUVS in the same size and price range of the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder that we recently bought. Most other comparable vehicles seemed small and not very solid (lots of rattling in the ride and even when opening and closing doors). We were very pleased to find that the Pathfinder had a solid (not a tin can) feel to it and the ride was very tight and solid. It is a comfortable ride and handles very well. It seats five of us very comfortably and the storage in the back is great. We went with a five-speed and the power we have even in mountain driving is great (even under a full load with the a/c running).
