It's Done Everything We've Wanted

by   Saxguy ,  Feb 14, 2001
Pros: Accessible, comfortable, dependable
Cons: mirror design
The Bottom Line: It has exceeded our expectations and made getting around a lot easier for me and my family.
Review: We bought a 1997 Nissan Quest, which is their minivan model, in the summer of 1997. We were looking for a van that would be easily accessible for my wife, who is disabled. What we needed, specifically, was a van that had high, firm seats that were near...

Always A Review After Ten Years

by   previaguy ,  May 10, 2008
Pros: V6 ENGINE and TRANSMISSION ARE VERY RELIABLE.
Cons: MILES PER GALLON. HOPE SOMEDAY I CAN ACHIEVE 35-40 MILES PER GALLON WITH A VAN.
The Bottom Line: I do not like poorly built cars, because even with proper maintenance let's face it, if it is initially made like Junk it is JUNK!
Review: I figured if a vehicle can last at least ten years on the road it is worth writing a Review On. My Recent Purchase After giving away my previous van was a used 1997 Nissan Quest from Gui-Do...You know those shady Dealers that say we are honest, we only ...

The #1 Minivan in U.S.?

by   Aero9816 ,  Apr 18, 2000
Pros: Automatic Lights, Remote Keyless Entry, Alarm, Power!
Cons: Nothing Bad about this vehicle.
Review: Could this minivan be the #1 best minivan in the United States.
That I do not know, but from experience, my parents have owned a number of minivans. This particular minivan I would have to say is the best yet. In this report I will compare it to...

Nissan Quest Smooth Ride

by   halosky ,  Jan 19, 2000
Pros: Great mileage, Smooth Ride
Cons: kids playing with rear air buttons (before they got used to it)

It was roomy, child friendly, and one of the safest minivans on the road today. I...

Never thought I'd drive a minivan

by   TwoTotMom ,  Jan 14, 2000
Pros: Comfortable for driver and passenger, drives like a luxury car
Cons: Positioning of rear air vents
Review: I never thought I was the "type" to drive a minivan but when I was pregnant with our second son it quickly became apparent that we were outgrowing our Altima. Considering that we owned two other Nissan's we thought Nissan was a good place to...

Pros: roomy, safe, comfortable
Cons: price

Nissan Quest: If You Gotta Own A Van..

by   ychromosome ,  May 28, 2003
Pros: Lots of room; stylish for a van; plenty of power
Cons: A little tinny; some maintenance problems
The Bottom Line: A decent mini-van, with style and good power, if you have to or want to own a van.
Review: I vowed I'd never own a mini-van: NEVER. But, when I needed more space to haul around my work equipment and supplies, a van was the only answer.

Most of the minis look like bloated bread boxes on wheels: UG-G-GLY. The Quest has some style to...

Smooth driving with small children

by   deals_2000 ,  Mar 30, 2000
Pros: Very smooth ride
Cons: Not as much leg room in the back for older children/adults
Review: The Nissan Quest is a smooth driving minivan that drives like a car. It's seats are comfortable, and it has a very sleek design, both inside and out. It has a V6 engine which gives it a great deal of pick up while maintaining reasonable gas mileage....

Pros: Smooth ride & good gas mileage
Cons: tricky rear door
The Bottom Line: Plenty of space, comfort and value
Review: I recently bought (used) a 1997 Nissan Quest. After a 3 year nightmare with my last vehicle (the review is listed in the Kia section) it is great to be back in a Nissan. This car has a very smooth ride and is quite comfortable. Putting in a lot...
