Takes a licking keeps on ticking

Pros: Cheap, reliable, quick for a 4 cylinder.

I married the owner of this truck. Since I bought her a Honda I've been driving it. It is a no frills, power nothing except muscle. you are the transmission and power steering. It is very reminiscent of a Datsun P/U I grew up driving. Truck has 83,000 on it and has been mechanically trouble free. However: Rust has killed the frame, cost me 600.00 in new brake lines. I tried to prevent but was to far gone, but there are many other occasions where the frames have rusted thru on other models. My wife will sorely miss this one as it was her first vehicle. I like this truck so much have just replaced it with a 95 XE completely rust free and I will undercoat this one.
If you can find one with minimal rust, get it and take care of undercoating you'll have a truck running for years on end...
