Versa has great features, but is mediocre at best.
Pros:
Great features for an entry line model.
Cons:
Fuel economy not the best.
The Bottom Line:
I love the features of the 2007 Nissan Versa SL hatchback, but the fuel economy and other issues would make me think again before purchasing this vehicle.

I purchased my Nissan Versa Hatchback one year ago at a great price, about $18,000CAD for SL package and spoiler.
I like the look of the Versa Hatchback, but I love it with the spoiler. The spoiler makes the car look a lot sportier.
This car has an upgraded stereo system, 6-disk CD changer, MP3 player compatibility, blue tooth, air conditioning, power steering, power locks, power widows, alloy wheels, and upgraded upholstery. It also comes with the new transmission technology, CVT.
The car I purchased is an automatic, and CVT has made a huge difference. Previously my car lagged when changing gears, now the process is seamless as the CVT belt expands and contracts as I speed up and slow down.
The blue tooth system is great as long as you have a blue tooth compatible cell phone. The car automatically identifies the cell phone and allows you to call through the installed speakers instead of having to pick up and dial. You can even say "Call Home" to the car and as long as you've programmed it properly it will call your house. You can also leave messages for yourself in the car, an impressive feature for an entry-line model.
My least favorite part about this vehicle has been the fuel economy. I encountered a problem with the fuel pump that went undiagnosed at the dealership for several months. The pump was not operating at the proper pressure, which is a common problem for the 2007 Versa. Once the pump was replaced the fuel economy improved, but is still not quite what I expected.
I have also had some issues with plastic pieces around the drivers side door coming loose, they are easy to pop back in, but it can be inconvenient. The back interior piece that covers the items in the trunk can be finicky to use as well, and often I don't even have it in the car at all.
