A world of fun

The Bottom Line: Who wouldn't want a game that is enjoyed by family members of all ages? This is a revolutionary game product.
I had never laid eyes on a Wii until my wife's nephew brought his to the family Thanksgiving gathering. I hadn't played a video game for perhaps 15 years, and had little desire. But after playing Wii golf for 10 minutes, I knew we had to have one.
There are plenty of qualified reviews on this product. Let me put how I feel about it this way: Our Wii helps us lure our grown daughter to come home for dinner and a few games of bowling. That makes it a wonderful product.
We've also had tremendous fun with our fellow middle-agers. We took it to a state park cottage for a long weekend of playing with some old friends. And last night, a Wii bowling tournament was the centerpiece of a seven-person birthday celebration for our neighbor.
It really is an extremely clever and entertaining system. The fact that in Wii sports you can up and active, simulating the swing of a tennis racket or a roundhouse boxing punch, adds a fabulous dimension to gaming.
And what a laugh we have when someone lose their grip on the bowling ball and it flies back toward the other Miis (players), sending them jumping for their lives.
Our friends have been tremendously entertained simply customizing the appearance of their Mii character.
