The Bottom Line: The Most Portable System ! Buy it on sale !
I've just got a GAMEBOY MICRO (i'm 26) and i'm very happy with it ! I bought it (with yoshi's island 20$can) to play in the metro or bus after work and the screen is so bright that it is really easy to play even if the thing is really really small... if Nintendo release the media player in america in the near future, it will be a great piece of technology... i have to admit that the normal release price is way to high (the bad critics comes alot from the price and people who didn't even play it)... i got it new in sale at Walmart in Canada for 68$can (about 55-60$ in the us).... for that price, it is the great ! the psp is 230 in canada and the DS is 150 $ or 180 $ with the dog game. The micro is still sold over 100 $ in most store (even 130).
This is a great peace of technology for those who want a little portable system to play on the go. I'm sure the PSP (or DS) is great but it doesn't fit in a pocket, it's big, $$$, battery life sucks... I still think that the PSP is a better system (technology speaking) than the GBmicro BUT it's like comparing apple and orange.
You want the best portable system : PSP
You want the system with the most originality : DS
You want the most portable system : Micro
For the scrathable screen, it's not a arguement (unlike the PSP) since you get 3 removable faceplate witch protect the lcd screen anyway.
