Pros: Easy to use controls, color screen, can play color or b/w games, great battery life.
Cons: Considered a dinosaur in the world of hand held video games.
The Bottom Line: GBA, N-Gage, PSP, Nomad ... none of them have entertained me as much as my trusty GameBoy Color.
Review: Wow, I might get some serious hate mail for the title of this review but to me, the GameBoy Color is the best hand held video game unit. Look at the variety of the titles that you can get for it [granted most of them are older but still ...], the ...

Pros: Miniature fun, minor headaches, major pleasure
Cons: Easy to lose that confuddled thang
The Bottom Line: Gameboy-it's compact, it's colorful and let's you enjoy tons of handheld games with clarity and ease.
Review: Gameboy Color was my daughter's reward for a perfect report card last year. Purple was the flavor of the month, and purple was the color that she wanted, along with Pokemon Blue game to accompany the Gameboy.

Pros: fun, small can go anywhere
Cons: makes your eyes nuts, and bateries need to be replaced often
Review: This Christmas my girls got Gameboys. They have asked for these for about 5 months now.
I usually try to wait for them to at least ask for something a few times before we run out and buy it. Especially if it is a costly item. Usually if they... |

Pros: Very portable, long battery life, great colour screen
Cons: Screen can't be seen in the dark, controls can be numbing to use
The Bottom Line: The Game Boy is extremely portable and with a long battery life, it's the perfect system for use on long plane rides.
Review: The original monochrome Game Boy was produced by Nintendo and released in Japan in late 1988. It found its way to the United States, subsequently winning many hearts there with its compact form and the provision of a great variety of games from which...

Pros: Crisp screen, good sound, large library of games, durable, good battery life
Cons: No backlight, old technology compared to modern systems
The Bottom Line: It's a cheap, durable handheld console video game that fits in your pocket. Easy on the batteries, large library of games, I recommend one for everyone!
Review: Introduction Nintendo has the formula for handheld video games pretty much figured out. They realized, from their overwhelming success in the 80's, that the majority of their market don't care about the number of bits, processor speed, memory, ...

Pros: Long battery life, great selection of games, simplicity of games.
Cons: Is not backlit.
Review: I can remember when I got my first hand held system, the Sega Gamegear, which was in color from the very start. I played it a lot, and still play it to this day from time to time. But it drained batteries like nobodys business.

Pros: Great graphics, great sound, great variety of games, accessories are cheap, lots of choices, full color, captivating.
Cons: Don't play too long. Headaches occur!
Review: Since I have been sick, I have been having to travel a lot for medical reasons. Anyone who sits through long car rides knows how boring it can be. For months now, I have begged for a Game Boy. Didn't have to be the new Game Boy, just the classic...

Pros: Huge library, most affordable, extremely portable
Cons: Need alot of light to play, colors are kind of ugly
Review: The Nintendo Game Boy is now the elder statesman among video game systems. It has been around for over 12 years now, and manufacturers still make games for it. With the release of the new Game Boy color, which is also compatible with all of the classic...
