Hand-helds, Nintendo's dominated market

Date of Review:  Apr 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: This is absolutely the best hand held system ever made.
Review: Intro:
The first handheld to come out that used cartridges was the original Brick... I mean Game boy. I can remember holding the 5 lb block and playing Mario black and white. The game boy has advanced so much more powerfully to reveal the GBA...

Another gold mine for Nintendo from their lovable pocket system

Date of Review:  Jun 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: The Gameboy Advance SP is the Gameboy variation to own, so fun and useful... there is no reason not to get one! Buy this Gameboy today!
Review: I have been a Gameboy fan for over a decade. From the original clunky, beige box with the green screen, to the more svelte icy-blue Pocket variant, to the Gameboy Color, to the "no frills" Gameboy Advance and now, the Gameboy Advance SP! I must say,...

Crack for Kids

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: Buy it, play it, love it.
Review: This little console is addictive; you put it down and you can feel yourself itching to pick it right back up. And you do. Luckily, the battery lasts forever, and, if you do use it up, it's not a problem since you can recharge it as you play. Now...

Great new handheld

Date of Review:  Mar 21, 2007
The Bottom Line: A great little invention to keep you busy in down time.
Review: After several years of playing tetris on my old Game Boy hand held console my husband decided to upgrade me to the Game Boy Advance. I was very excited with this new gift.

The thing I love the most about this hand held is that built in...

Well, it's about dang time!!!!!!

Date of Review:  Oct 25, 2003
The Bottom Line: Buy it. If you don't like it, I apologize. I like it. But you're not me. So buy it. If you like it, maybe we're third cousins twice removed.
Review: Did it take anyone at Nintendo too much I.Q. to throw out the idea that a 32-bit handheld should maybe have a back-lit screen? Hey guys, ever hear of the Sega Game Gear? Yeah, they went under with that one, but until the SP, it was a superior hand...

Great lil' toy!

Date of Review:  Mar 26, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is the top of the line in portable gameplay as far as I'm concerned.
Review: I recieved a GBA SP from my lovely husband as a christmas gift. I own almost every Game Boy now; the original grey one, a teal GB Color, a pink GB Advance, and a blue GBA SP. The only one I'm missing is the GB Pocket.

Anyway, the graphics...

Good piece of gaming hardware

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2006
The Bottom Line: Recommended for those who enjoy extreme portability and good games.
Review: Behold! The new Game Boy Advance SP! Of course, now in 2006, mixed with the PSP, PS3, XBOX 360 and Nintendo DS and Wii, it
doesn't make much of an entrance. But, for those looking for the good old days, where Pokemon and Zelda dominated the...

27 Year Old Married White Female is Game Boy Advance SP Fanatic

Date of Review:  Dec 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: I recommend this not just kids but ADULTS! It is a great diversion.
Review: I'm a product of the video game age. I grew up and blossomed just as the video game industry did as well. At the age of 8 or 9 or so, I thought I was the smartest thing on the block because I thought of this great idea: what if my Nintendo screen...

GameBoy Advance: Specially Powered

Date of Review:  Dec 31, 2004
The Bottom Line: If your planning to go the cheap way, get an SP. If not get the Nintendo DS.
Review: My experience with the GBA SP: I bought this system 6 months ago because I wanted to play GameBoy Advance games but could not do so because I had a GameBoy Colour system. I picked it up for $100 (CDN $) at Wal-Mart and bought Advance Wars as well...

How did we ever survive without the backlighting...

Date of Review:  Jan 1, 2005
Review: I never bought the previous GameBoy because it had no light. I knew one day they would finally add one so we can play games in the dark. I love games. It passes time when your in line at the post office, waiting for a movie to start or just have...
