Review from a "mom" ~ gotta do it!

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you are going to buy your child a gameboy, don't go for the regular gameboy advance. The SP is less wear on the eyes!
Review: My 9 year old (at the time) had a gameboy color and a gameboy advance. He really didn't need a gameboy advance SP, and actually he never asked for one. But I saw a commercial and I was sold. He plays so much with his gameboys, I knew I had to get...

Was the GBA SP Necessary? Oh yeah..

Date of Review:  Jan 9, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would recommend purchase of the GBA SP due to everything it offers and the undeniable 'cool' factor it gives off.
Review: Diving right into it, one of the first pleasures one will encounter when opening the box to their new Nintendo GameBoy Advance SP (which stands for Special, according to Nintendo.com) is the incredible, and I don't use the word lightly, design of...

Game Boy Advance SP? Is it much better?

Date of Review:  Jan 8, 2005
Review: Gameboy Advance SP is a good system over all. It is pretty much a game boy advance that can fold over, has a back light, and recharges itself. I would recommend to buy either the first Gameboy Advance or save up a little more money and buy a...

Back to The Old School

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you a re a big fan of gaming don't hold back. For the casual gamer maybe borrow one from your friend first.
Review: Remember all those great games from your childhood? You know like Metroid, The Legend Of Zelda, even Super Mario Bros. 3. All those hours you spent planing the perfect path through a level so you could get all the secrets in one shot with out losing...

Dare I say perfect? I submit yes!

Date of Review:  Jan 20, 2004
The Bottom Line: The various colors are all identical (aside from collector value perhaps), they are all so much better than anything before, if you play games and/or travel, get one!
Review: When I was a kid, I never had a single game console. My friends all did, but I never had one, nor a GameBoy. I would go to their houses and play theirs and I was envious - we had computers instead.

The first GameBoy was an ingenious...

GBA SP Rocks!

Date of Review:  Jan 22, 2004
Review: The Game Boy SP is everything I wanted. Other systems try to copy it, but they try to do to much and the Game Boy conquers it, just like the original did for 7 years in the early nineties. The folding design protects the screen and makes it much...

Game Boy Advance SP

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2003
The Bottom Line: Hurry, try to trade your old Game Boy Advance in for an SP, before the specialty shops become swamped with trades.
Review: Easily the most sleek and stylish of the Game Boy line, the SP offers two significant enhancements; a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery system and a front-lit LCD screen. Both work so well that its safe to say Nintendo will be forced to include them...

Great game console with many cute games.

Date of Review:  Mar 22, 2007
Review: Our four year old got the gameboy advance for christmas and loves it. There are many simplistic games for his age. Also it is easy for him to hold and the screen is very bright and easy to see.
