PURESHEILD praises Code Lyoko DS

Date of Review: Jun 19, 2007

The Bottom Line:  I would reccomend for People who watched the Entire Animated Series to be familiar with how the game works and Mosters Attacks.
I am the first member to write a Review for this game.

I brought the Game for $31.00 from GameStop.

When I turned on the Game, It shows a Code Lyoko Season 2 Opening with Lyoko Theme Music.

The Game play sounds just like the Cartoon series.

Before you can go to Lyoko, you have to complete a task in the real world first.

Traveling in the real world allows you to explore places you have not been to on the animated series, As well as familiar areas such a the science class room, The Factory and even Yumi's House.

I am pretty sure you will be able to find the Hermitage to.

I do agree that to much exploreing can make you tired.

You can't really talk to any Characters except ones related to the game.

The Real World Tasks are Fairly Easy with use of the Map which has a Xana symbol on the spot you need to be at.

When you speak to our Characters, The show up closer with a Dialogue Box with what they have to say.

When You get ready to go to Lyoko, You can explore all levels in the factory including the SuperComputer, the Lab and the Scanner Room.

When you step into the scanner, The screen shows an Animated Scanner Sequence which the character spins until virtualized in Lyoko.

When You are sent to Lyoko you get to choose who to play, Some are available in some levels, While others are not.

Even if you are sent to the same sector again, The Level has a different design for each level.

Your player has 100 Hp and 100 LP. (Lyoko Power).

Lyoko Power is a special Ability you can use to your characters advantage to reach places in the level the other character could not.

You can only use Lyoko Power when the icon shows up on the stylus screen after you touched the power symbol.

Battles seems easy with the Kankrilats but become much harder by the fourth level in the dessert region which mutliple sets of Hornets attack you. Then another swarm arrives after you defeated the first set.

Be very careful in that level. You will need a Lyoko Life Points Pack and Lyoko Power Pack to survive.

The Packs are available for another purchase after you use the ones you have.

The can only carry one of each.

After you choose Aelita from the screen by clicking on a Check Point which is a Blue Xana Symbol that floats.

You can change chaarcters and Buy items at the Blue Xanan symbol check point.

You take her to the tower to deactivate it, Then you have to solve a Puzzle by putting the pieces together.

After that you get an option to save.

I have not gotten to far in the game, i hope to see the Mountain Region and Sector 5.

If you fall into the Digital sea, You will see you character fall until they get devirtualized.

I believe if you die in the game you only have two chances then if you die again you will have to restart the Level.
