How smart are you?

Brain Age 2 is your typical spin-off of the original game. It is one of those type of games that really gets you to think about how to respond. It will test you in several different ways and challenge you in the training mode to see if you will improve over time. The hardest part to remember about this game is to come back and do training for every day of the week. If you can remember that, the rest of the game is a piece of cake. I bought this at Target for $19.99, which is quite reasonable for a video game.

This game really gets you to focus. I personally like these type of games because I am not very good with games that require a lot of skill. Brain Age 2 gets me to concentrate more and focus so that I feel that I can actually do better in other video games because instead of getting frustrated and turning it off I will try and figure it out. This game really has hours of fun, I know I do keep coming back to this game.

Another great feature of Brain Age 2 is that you can challenge your other friends wirelessly with only one card to see how everyone rates. This can be a lot of fun for the whole family. I would not recommend this game for little children, as some of the tests and training they would not understand. The best part about playing wirelessly with this game is that you only have to have one game cartridge. That’s right, you only have to buy the game once. It saves a lot of money in the long run because video games can get quite expensive.

In the beginning of your training you will take an initial test. This will give you a starting point to work from. You will be playing rock, paper, scissors. Though this may sound easy, it’s not really as easy as it may sound. It will show you a sign, say for instance rock, and tell you that you either need to win or lose. You will then need to figure out what symbol will do that. It really gets you to think about what is correct. Once you have figured out the correct answer, you will say it into the built in microphone in the Nintendo DS.

Once you have completed your initial test, you will be given a few training quizzes to make you better. You will only start with a few courses, but you will unlock more as the days go by. This is one of the ways that the game will encourage you to keep coming back. The first game you will have for training is Sign Finder. It will give you a series of 30 math equations, and you will have to figure out what sign goes in the blank. I personally think that this is the easiest and funniest game. It really tests your skills.

Other challenges and training classes you will get in your first days of training are Piano Player, Word Blend, and Word Scramble. Another one of my favorite training classes is Piano Player. You will get a different song everyday and it will show you the notes you have to play. You will receive bonus points if you play them at the right time. It is quite a challenge. Other games that you will unlock as you progress are Math Recall, Calendar Count, Change Maker, Block Count, Memory Sprint (hard), and Clock Spin.

You also have the option to play Sudoku on Brain Age 2. You can play this at anytime without having to set up a saved game. This is great for long card rides when you are trying to pass the time. I love this game because it is challenging and still fun. I would definitely recommend you give Brain Age 2 a try. There is a lot of variety in the game as well as it will keep you coming back for more. It’s the addicting type perfect for adults.
