Satisfied until....

Bought the camera about two months ago and was entirely satisfied with it until the image sensor went out. Had to return it to a local camera store who charged me $28 to send it off to the service center in California. It's been gone about three weeks and hopefully I'll get it back in about a month.

I really like to fact that the camera uses rechargable AA batteries. Prepriatary batteries in some cameras are a real pain; expensive for spares and limited in life span. In an emergency, you can get a set of "AA"s to tide you over.

Bought the camera from an "on line" store, but the local camera shop who also sells the camera was very cooperative about handling the warrenty service.
