by   mridula ,  May 8, 2005
Pros: The photographs are exciting enough for me.
Cons: I wish I could zoom more.
The Bottom Line: I am enjoying my Nikon Coolpix 3200. I will upgrade only for a much better one in distant future.
Review: They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. So here are many thousand words for you, the pictures that I took with my Nikon Coolpix 3200. While looking at the pictures please keep in mind that I know next to nothing about photography. I click them ...

Perfect for an amatuer photographer

by   sherilyn70 ,  Sep 24, 2004
Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive, great auto features, panoramic pictures, easy to use, long battery life
Cons: Takes noisy videos if you use auto focus mode.
The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with the quality of this camera. I would have expected to pay more than I did for a camera of this caliber.
Review: I guess one might call me a camera snob. I am extremely critical and picky when it comes to my digital images. So for me to rate this as a 5 means a lot to me. I like to do a lot of photoshop work and artistic shots so pixel quality is extremely ...

by   mapaquette ,  Jun 11, 2004
Pros: Excellent pictures, easy to use, small, light.
Cons: Small nitpick: assist and scene modes will probably be rarely used.
The Bottom Line: I am completely satisfied and delighted with this camera. It combines excellent picture quality, flexible capabilities, useful features, and a great price.
Review: I was looking for a digital camera that met specific requirements: high picture quality, at least 3 megapixel resolution, optical zoom, video shooting with audio recording, non-proprietary file formats, non-proprietary memory card format, non-proprietary ...

Great Pictures!

by   georget99 ,  Jun 23, 2004
Pros: Small, light, excellent pictures, simple controls, uses AA batteries.
Cons: Battery life, display hard to see in the sun.
The Bottom Line: It's a small camera with big capabilities. Features are fun but good pictures are the goal, and this camera takes good pictures.
Review: I decided to replace my Fuji MX-1200 with something more up to date and with a higher pixel count. With very little research (but backed by a liberal return policy) I settled on the Nikon CoolPix 3200. It's got 3.2 megapixels, and comes with 16 ...

Review: About 8 months prior to this review, I bought my wife one of these for our anniversary. We had a Minolta DiMage 7i that was a great camera, but was so big and bulky you had to plan on takng it places (kind of like a kid). It was just too big to be ...

Great Price&Features

by   swingcarlos ,  Jan 3, 2005
Pros: Great price. Clear Pics. Easy use. All cables included.
Cons: Lag time. Noisy video. No case.
The Bottom Line: Good enough for the average photo buff. Lag time too slow for pros who need lots of frames quickly.
Review: I purchased mine from MarinePark Camera for something like $149(refurbished). I was able to start taking pictures immediately after loading the batteries, which were included. The camera comes with an internal 16mb(i think) but can take an SD Card. ...

Review: I buy Nikon cameras a lot for my work (it is compatible with both Windows and Macs) and have probably bought 8 Nikon 885s over the last three years -- we even bought one for work. I really like the 3.2 Megapixel size. I think it's a wonderful ...

Pros: Style, price, features, picture quality, user friendly, date imprint, Live display on TV
Cons: No continuous battery indicator, so small that mistaken as a toy camera, small memory
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for first-timers as well as nerds.
Review: I bought this camera from an online vendor, and when I opened the box, I couldn't believe my eyes. The camera was much smaller than I expected. But when I started using it, I realized it was a giant in a small body. I am absolutely amazed by its ...
