Awesome digital camera!

I have owned 4 digital cameras in the past... 3 Sony's (P72, P10 and a P100), and Kodak LS753.... I recently purchased the Sony P100 and have to say I was greatly disappointed with the photo quality on the P100. This review is for the Nikon 5200 but I need to mention that buyer beware with the P100.. The P100 takes the worse photographs of all the above listed cameras. I exchanged the P100 for my Nikon 5200....

Now onto the Nikon 5200...... WOW! Now this Nikon takes hands down the best digital photographs I have ever seen! It has an easy to use menu system and the start up time is pretty fast. The P100 did start up faster but the image quality on the P100 is at lest 50% less than the image quality on the Nikon 5200.

I am very pleased with the Nikon 5200 and will defiantly recommend this camera to all my family and friends!

If you are in the market for a compact 5MP camera, do yourself a favor and seriously consider this model... This is my 3rd 5MP camera and it flat out smokes the Sony P100 and it is far and above the Kodak LS753...

My only complaint with this camera is that it has very limited internal memory and it does not come with an additional memory card.. The camera as it ships will only hold 4 high quality images.. Be prepared to spend a little extra on a SD card. I got a 256MB SD card and it will hold 89 images at the highest quality setting..

Overall it is a great camera, it has small size and it has a fast start up time.... The menu system is easy to use and the best feature of all is the quality of the images it produces... Hands down the best I have seen from a 5MP camera!
