Excellent Multi-Purpose Binoculars

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2004
The Bottom Line: Rugged. Sharp. Excellent choice for a wide range of power in a light, small piece of quality gear. Other options are better suited for dim or lengthy surveillance. Superb choice.
Review: Nikon is an excellent choice for any optical gear. These binos are solidly built. The focus, diopter, zoom, and eye-span adjustments all have an appropriate level of resistance (not too loose or too stiff). The image is free of appreciable spherical...

Who's afraid of the big bad zoom?

Date of Review:  Dec 31, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're not concerned about the few limitations common to all compact zoom nocs, you will find these Nikons an excellent value. Buy 'em. You'll love 'em.
Review: If you like the idea of relatively inexpensive, lightweight, compact zoom binoculars, then look no further. I just got my pair of Nikon Travelite V Zoom (8-24 x 25 CF) nocs, and I already LOVE them.

Don't let the bird watching crowd talk...

Amazing Optics in a Compact Binocular

Date of Review:  Nov 9, 2005
The Bottom Line: Small, lightweight, with remarkable magnification. Despite the unavoidable shaking artifact, they still bring in distant objects with remarkable clarity.
Review: As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I wanted a lightweight, compact but powerful binocular to bring distant scenery and animal life closer. It is fairly small, (in inches) 5.0 long x 2.75 wide x 2.2 thick. With the rather bulky padded case, the size...

Nikon Eagleview Binoculars

Date of Review:  Oct 20, 2009
The Bottom Line: Quality construction, features, and compactness cannot be beat for price.
Review: I have been conducting private investigations for over 20 years. All we do is surveillance. This of course demands quality equipment. I own several pairs of the high end Leica Binoculars, Canon Stabilizing Binoculars, and a host of expensive...
