Great Choice for Budget Minded Glass, but More Savings Can Be Less Performance...

Date of Review:  Nov 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: For half of a Kahles, if you're shooting under 350 yards, the Nikon is the ultimate performance for dollar ratio on the market
Review: The Topic of rifle scopes can be a tremendously debated topic. Choosing a scope in fact is probably more difficult than choosing a rifle! Once you've established what you're shopping for (target, hunting, bench-rest etc) you can eliminate options...

Quality & clarity at a great price

Date of Review:  Oct 24, 2006
The Bottom Line: Top quality for the price. You could spend $1500 on a pair of Swarovskis, but why? This is a fine product from Nikon and very much worth the price.
Review: I've always trusted the Nikon name, and these binoculars are another reason why.

The construction is very solid, the rubber armor and the RealTree camouflage finish are both top quality, and the focus wheel is precise and easily found and...

Good value in a hunting/birding binocular

Date of Review:  Nov 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're in the market for a compact, quality, versatile set of binoculars to be used for hunting, birdwatching or just general use, try these before buying anything else.
Review: For a compact, lightweight set of binoculars that features fully multi-coated lenses, the Nikon Monarch is an excellent value. The twist-up eyecups will be appreciated by the many eyeglass wearers (like myself) who have a need to use binoculars on...

Better than expected......................

Date of Review:  Oct 10, 2006
Review: I bought the Nikon 10x42 Monarch ATB from Binoculars.com. They're friendly, knowledgeable and very nice people to deal with.

I did a fair amount of research and these looked like what I wanted. They're light weight, good features...

The good and the bads of my Nikon monarchs

Date of Review:  Jan 12, 2008
The Bottom Line: A great pair of bino's for the price!
Review: Optics/Quality
I have had my monarchs for two years and i have put them to good use. I hunt a lot and i think that overall the glass is great, very clear and crisp. They let in a lot of light in the early mourning hours and late in the evenings...

Best Buy for the Buck

Date of Review:  Jul 11, 2005
Review: I researched binoculars for some time, even purchased several different brands to see what they were like and how they compared.

With the 10x magnification and the 42 light opening and a 314 @ 1,000 yard view. There is nothing better for...

Excellent choice - lightweight, good optics - great guarantee

Date of Review:  Jan 19, 2006
Review: After reading a lot of on-line reviews I bought the Nikon's and I couldn't be happier. They have an excellent in-the-hand feel, they are very light compared to competitive models, very small in size for 10x42's, the optics are A-1 for this price...
