Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens

Date of Review:  Feb 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a camera, this should be on the top of the list. It is simple yet very versatile in it's operation. The tools are there.
Review: I purchased this camera/lens in October 2007. I must say that after reading the owners manual, I was more confused than I was before about the operation of the camera. After going through some basic camera classes, I am now very confident in the...

Not the greatest HP product

Date of Review:  May 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would pass, spend more and find a better product. I'd take it back if I could.
Review: My wife and I recently began the process of adopting a child internationally. Facing the immense stack of documentation, we decided we would need a printer and the copy functions would be helpful. We went to a local store and liked the HP PSC 1510...

Reliable and inexpensive

Date of Review:  Jul 13, 2006
Review: Work in small hospital, we have a variety of printers in different departments, mostly Dell's.
This is a replacement for the Dell 1700n, which, although a decent printer, had paper-handling problems.
They seem to have fixed that in the...

Nikon D80 ...a new standard!

Date of Review:  Sep 21, 2006
The Bottom Line: Get it! No question, the best bargain on high quality.
Review: As a professional photographer, I tend to use a lot of cameras. The Nikon D80 is a superb creation and a big step up from the D70(which is a great camera in itself).

The D80 body is actually lighter than the D70! That is wonderful if you...

STAY AWAY!

Date of Review:  Dec 2, 2006
Review: This PSC is the biggest piece of garbage I've have ever purchased. It is CONSTANTLY jamming, mis-aligning, and basically just not working worth a damn. Takes me FOREVER to print, since I'm constantly having to re-feed paper, clear jams, etc. You'd...

Is this camera for real?

Date of Review:  Dec 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: For the absolute beginner or someone who wants more features than those in a point and shoot.
Review: The Nikon D40 with 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 AF-S AF lens is this company's bare bones entry level offering in the extremely volatile digital SLR market. As the two giants of the industry, Canon and Nikon vie for an ever increasing slice of the dSLR pie,...

Feature-rich at a wonderful price

Date of Review:  Dec 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: Easy to use for the beginner and feature rich enough for the pro or advanced amature. The D80 ROCKS!!!
Review: I have to say that the release of the D80 didn't really make a huge splash on the camera scene. I think that's pretty sad because the D80 is not only a worthy successor to the D70 but I strongly feel that it's the first DSLR good enough to be your...

Great camera, no matter what colonialpara says

Date of Review:  Jan 23, 2007
The Bottom Line: Small, light, excellent image quality, very simple to use, wide selection of AF-compatible lenses available, flexible enough to grow with you.
Review: Nikon's new D40 takes point-&-shoot photographers and gives them an outstanding, enabling dSLR camera. It also takes professionals and serious enthusiasts and gives them something much more portable to be their "everyday" dSLR.

Good DSLR to upgrade from point and shoot

Date of Review:  Apr 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Excellent as entry camera into DSLR but usable by beginners.
Review: I wanted to upgrade to a DSLR and chose the D80. It has a good combination of point and shoot modes and the manual control modes (M/A/S/P). I started using the point and shoot modes but have progressed to where I am using the M/A/S/P modes to get...
