Luv my L11
Date of Review: Jun 10, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy it. Takes nice pictures. Easy to use. Many features. Accepts SDHC cards.
I'm new to digital cameras. I'm new to cameras, period. I've had the L11 for about 2 months now. Bought it to help document work done on investment property. Now I also use it for personal purposes. Simply put - it takes clear pictures and it's easy to use. Luv the auto light adjustment.
Downloading pictures to my PC is easy. But, the PC software should have Windows Explorer features.
I have not yet used the motion picture feature. I have not yet added sound either. But the instructions to do both are straight forward. The user manual is packed full of info on the many features of the L11, but it's generally an easy read.
The battery life seems good. I've taken less than 100 photos so far and downloaded all of them. The original batteries are still performing well.
I recently bought a 4GB SDHC card. Now I can store up to 77,000 pictures on that card, depending on the L11 picture mode. Really luv that.
Another nice thing is that the L11 comes with USB and AV cords. I have a flat panel TV so soon I'll try the feature to view pictures directly on my TV.
BTW... I unknowingly threw my camera while it was in a padded pouch. It traveled a several feet before hitting the carpeted floor. No problem... it still works just fine.
Overall, I luv my L11. So far so good. I highly recommend it.
