Can't quite live up to the hype

The Bottom Line: You are not going to get what is advertised. If you can get one cheap, the altitude function is nice. Otherwise, look elsewhere for something more durable and trustworthy.

Could have been good...

The Bottom Line: If the watch construction is (has been) improved then it's a best buy in its category. Otherwise it's a very fun watch that does not last.
Review: Nice watch, can be worn anywhere, easy to use, easy to read, nice features.
The bubble level is actually quite useful for accurate compass readings. Was able to spot a map error during a mountain hike in the northeast thanks to this watch.

The Bottom Line: I'd get this if you need a general idea of bearing and altitude.
Review: I've always wanted one of those Casio watches with thermometer and barometer. I don't mountain climb or ski, but just instinctively like having that kind of info around.
