A sequel that's better than the first

NEXT FRIDAY picks up where friday left us.Craig(Ice Cube)beat local baddie Debo(Tiny lister Jr)and his friend Smokey(Chris Tucker)went into a clinic.Craig's dad(John Whiterspoon)brings Craig to his uncle and cousin DD(Mike Epps).They hit the lotery and live in a large landhouse in a place called Raco Chucamunga.Everything should be perfect for Craig.But he falls in love with the neigbour-latino beauty,and get's involved with her crazy brothers,has to deal with DD's crazy ex-girlfriend,his uncs lover,and yes, Debo is back for revenge.It's a whole new friday!

FIRST I thougt the film would be crappy.Simply because it misses one of the original leads Chris Tucker.This Time Cube get's coupled with Mike Epps.Don't get me wrong,he's a funny guy.But he sure ain't no Chris Tucker.But the missing of Tucker doesn't harm the movie.Ice Cube is hilarious on his own! John Whiterspoon,who plays his dad,is also back with great one-liners.And a whole new co-star cast including Lobo Sebastian(Ghosts of Mars)and his funny latino-crew,a Chinese old woman(LAUGHED SO HARD!!)who says the f-word everytime,and a very funny African(in the cd-shop).Yes,NF has got plenty of funny moments.In fact it's even better than the first!

The reason for that is that the movie's got more plot.More action,more settings.You might see it as a con,but I think this movie is about more different things.FRIDAY was just about two guys sitting in front of their house.The whole film was shot in one street.This time Cube's is back.BIGGER!More settings,locations,more co-stars.But also the people who return from the first one do good jobs.Good to see Debo back aswell.That guy's mean and mad!
An other really good point is the cameo of Michael Rappaport as a white "racist" mailman.Very funny.The film's got all the elements for a funny black comedy.In fact,it's one of the best parody's in it's genre.It jokes the black gangster genre.Ice Cube did a good job.Where's friday after next?!
