The Newcon LRM 1500 laser rangefinder is easily the best value in high end laser rangefinders on the market today. I have the LRM 1500 and a Nikon Realtree GOLD. The Nikon is wonderful and has world class optics. The Newcon is also wonderful and while not world class like the Nikon, you can find it at nearly half the price. The Nikon product is also waterproof
