While climbing to view a waterfall, I fell and cut open my temple. I didn't have a concussion, but I needed ten stitches. Once the stitches had been removed and the scab had fallen off, I began to use New Skin Scar Therapy Topical Gel. I have used it now for 2 months and have seen a reduction in redness and the scar has shrunk considerably. I plan on using it until the tube is gone, however, underneath the wound the tissue feels hard. It may be due to the nature of the injury but I have a slight bump making one side of my forehead a bit larger than the other. I don't know if is related to the product or not. Additionally, I don't know if the product reduced the redness of the scar or if it was the natural healing process (being that I used the product as soon as possible), but I am generally happy with the product.
